The Read Furiously Little Free Libraries

To promote literacy and the love of reading by building free book exchanges worldwide and to build a sense of community as we share skills, creativity and wisdom across generations. There are nearly 40,000 Little Free Library book exchanges around the world, bringing curbside literacy home and sharing millions of books annually. (From the Little Free Library Website)

Curious about what a Little Free Library does? You can learn more here:

A Little Free Library can take any shape or size. What's most important is sharing a love of reading with our community. Read Furiously humbly began participating in the Little Free Library program several years ago by setting up small bookshelves and book boxes in local businesses. They were lovingly currated by our team members and many of our friends and neighbors helped them grow to reflect the wonderful personality of each location.

Most recently though, through the efforts of everyone at Read Furiously, we've been able to purchase our first charter library officially affiliated with the Little Free Library Organization. Placed at Banchoff Park not far from the Read Furiously offices, this Library was truly team effort. Proceeds from each copy of every title Read Furiously has sold helped fund both the library and the amazing collection of books that it features.

Read Furiously has also made the Read In Color pledge with this library, promising to feature titles by authors and featuring characters that represent the diverse voices and experiences of our community.
