Christopher Bursk


Christopher Bursk, the recipient of NEA, Guggenheim, and Pew Fellowships, is the author of fourteen books, including The Infatuations and Infidelities of Pronouns, Cell Count and The Improbable Swervings of Atoms (Donald Hall Prize in Poetry from AWP) and most recently A Car Stops and A Door Opens from CavanKerry Press. He has received Chicago Literary Award for Poetry, Green Rose Prize from New Issues, the 49th Parallel Award, Bellingham Review, the New Letters Prize in Poetry the Patterson Prize and the Allen Ginsberg Poetry Prize. Most importantly he is the grandfather of six.
